Winter is fast approaching!  With winter comes the snow and icy roads!  Elk Valley Christian School usually follows what Kanawha County Schools do in bad weather.  If EVCS is closed or delayed before the school day or dismisses early due to weather or other emergency, the following television and radio stations will be contacted:

If Elk Valley Christian School has a one-hour or two-hour delay, lunch will not be ordered on those days.  Students should bring a lunch from home.  The snack bar will be open to purchase items.  Also, After-Care will not be held on any days that we would have to dismiss early.  Please make arrangements accordingly.
